[Case Study] Improved Suction Efficiency with Flexible Hood

Proper relocation of the hood (inlet) in response to changes in dust generation points! A case that achieved labor saving and improved work efficiency.

There were issues such as "decreased suction efficiency due to changes in dust generation points and the need for improvements in the working environment." To address this, we adopted a swing arm (flexible hood) to eliminate poor suction. As a result, while a fixed hood necessitated an increase in processing airflow, the swing arm's operational range allowed us to maintain suction efficiency without the need for changes in capacity, achieving labor savings and improved work efficiency. 【Case Study】 <Problems> ■ With a fixed hood, dust at a distance from the hood cannot be effectively collected. <Benefits> ■ Within the operational range of the swing arm, there is no need for changes in capacity, allowing for the maintenance of suction efficiency. ■ Labor savings and improved work efficiency. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study on Environmental Improvement] Improvement of Dust Collection System through Food Change

Using a local exhaust hood to collect dust closer to the source of dust generation! Here are some examples.

We will introduce a case study on the improvement of the dust collection system due to changes in the hood. Initially, a canopy hood was installed above the equipment, prioritizing the operability of devices that generate dust. However, there were issues such as insufficient overall airflow for using the canopy hood and the fact that most of the dust generated was not being collected due to the distance from the dust source. Therefore, we changed from the canopy hood to a local flexible hood, which improved the dust collection efficiency. 【Solution】 - Changed from a canopy hood to a local flexible hood to enhance dust collection efficiency. - Selected a dust collector suitable for the centralized dust collection of six target machines and installed centralized dust collection piping. - The exhaust from the dust collector is returned to the workroom through a HEPA filter. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
